[SOLVED] is the Cooler Master MWE 550W 80+ Gold Fully Modular good?

Depends on how or why it fails.

Good price, but it says it's not in stock at any of their stores.

I have that exact one but it’s 650W. I got it to swap out my VS650. It’s a good PSU, looks descent, and cable-management is not a hell anymore.

because i was thinking this or the RM550X which is alot more expensive so idk if i could of gotten that.

Because the RM550x is a lot better. But the MWE Gold is still good.

the RM550 is great, but the MWE 550 is good. If you're just looking for good, the MWE 550 is the way to go.

I had the same model as you except it is 650W. Mine broke after 3 weeks I installed it. Don't buy it. Don't risk your 100 bucks on that product. I recommend buying from Corsair or EVGA instead. They are more reliable.

Thats a rebranded seasonic focus.
Its $6 more, its way better than the mwe.

are there any better ones? my budget could probs go up to 150 or so and i want one that wouldt damage my parts if it failed if thats possible. and if its modular
