Is the E3-1220 v5 Xeon compatible with MSI h110m pro vd

Hi, I was intending on building a pc for some video edits and CAD work. My friend was kind enough to give me an old MSI h110m pro vd, motherboard, I've been recommended the intel xeon series for my kinda use and work. I found E3-1220 v5 used for only £80, but after searching around there isnt any records as to whether this combo is compatible or not. Rather not buy pc parts which arent compatible. Any advice is much appreciated guys and HAppy new year all 😀!

Oh god, would you recommend any other CPUs I could use with that motherboard which are good for productivity tasks or should I just get a seperate motherboard?.

Any of the compatible i7s would be best. The i7-6700k and and i7-7700k being the "strongest" of the compatible offerings.

Keep in mind that you need to update the BIOS with a compatible CPU before install the 7000-series CPUs (7th Gen).
