Yes, it is. You want to put in the PC express x16 slot. That is the one in blue, which is the closest to the processor. If it doesn't work your board needs a firmware update, which older boards sometimes need for newer video cards. Try it first without updating. If it doesn't work, just let us know and we will help you with the firmware update (if necessary). It's not hard to do.
