My question is, will the I7 8700k bottleneck the RTX 3070 at 1440p at all ?
The RTX 3070 is rumored to be around the RTX 2080ti performance (I know it's probobly <Mod Edit>, but let's go with that) and the i7 8700k didin't create any bottelnecks with the 2080ti.
Should I worry about the bottelneck or not ?

There is no such thing as a bottleneck.
Better described as a limiting factor.
Game performance is gated by cpu, gpu, or rarely by thread count.

Try this simple test.

Run YOUR games, but lower your resolution and eye candy.
This makes the graphics card loaf a bit.
If your FPS increases, it indicates that your cpu is strong enough to drive a better graphics configuration.
If your FPS stays the same, you are likely more cpu limited.

As your gaming resolution gets higher, it puts more load on the graphics card than the cpu.
8700K is still a very competent processor. I suspect you will do well with a 3070 if you can buy one.
