Question Is the Intel 900p better than the 990 Pro ?

Hey,
I have an Intel Optane 900p 280gb but have seen a deal for 990 Pro 1TB on Amazon prime deals and im looking to upgrade.

Do you know if the Intel Optane 900p is faster in terms of latency than the Samsung 990 Pro , considering the Optane is now a few years old?
900p is certainly slower in terms of Read and Write but im curious to know if the 990 Pro outperforms it in game-loading times and 3D Rendering.

If so, i will look to get rid of the 900p.

I don't think switching your SSD is going to impact 3D rendering in any significant way.

Even for game loading the difference is likely small. Depends on the game of course, but only some of the activities that occur during game load are disk bound. e.g. texture decompression and data transfer to the GPU doesn't depend on the SSD (new DirectStorage thing changes this a bit).

I would upgrade for the capacity increase. But not expect much noticeable speed difference.
