Is the Nvidia GTS 450 good for gaming

I currently have an ati 4550, and obviously I need an upgrade.
I've come across the gts 450 and was wondering if it is any good for gaming.
My other specs;

Amd athlon x3 440 3ghz
4gb ddr3 ram

Res 1440x900

I've also saw an amd hd 6770, is it better than the gts 450 and is it worth the £10 more?

If you are going with a 400 series, I would not go less than a 460 or 480.


I (even though I prefer nVidia) would go with the AMD if those are your 2 options. It will be a much better performing unit.
