Is the Pebble Time worth it even though FitBit acquired Pebble ?

I want to get a cheap smart watch (less than 100$). i wanted to get the Pebble Time but i heard that Fitbit has acquired Pebble. What do you think guys ? is it worth it ?

Depends on your needs. Pebble products will no longer be supported, there will be no software updates, and the app community for it will likely die off quickly, if it hasn't already. If you're okay with what the Pebble Time currently does, and don't see yourself needing any kind of support or warranty, it's not the worst choice, since it's still a solid device. Just don't expect anything in terms of updates or support from Fitbit.
