Is ther a updated driver for the ati x1650 pro for windows 7

I have a Radeon ATI X1650 Pro 512MB D/D/VO video card that I took out of my computer that just died. I bought a new PC with Windows 7 on it. I can't seem to find a driver to download for this card. On Windows website it said that it was compatible but it doesn't work when I put it in. I'm sure I need to download a new driver for it but I can't find one. Can someone point me in the right direction or give me some advice? Thanks!

The X1xxx cards and several others went EOL a month or two ago so the best driver you can get from ATI is the 10.2 drivers. There won't be any further updates. That said, 10.2 is more than enough for what you need.
www.ati.com, select graphics, your O/S, the card and bang...that's all you need.

Thanks guys, but when I go to get the driver it says this:

AMD has moved a number of DX9 ATI Radeon™ graphics accelerators products to a legacy driver support structure. This change impacts Windows XP, Windows Vista, and Linux distributions. AMD has moved to a legacy software support structure for these graphics accelerator products in an effort to better focus development resources on future products.

The following products have been moved to the legacy software support structure (including Mobile and All-in-Wonder Variants):

And lists a bunch of cards, mine being one of them. I don't know where to go from here. I don't know what "legacy driver support structure" means or how to find it.

I have the 64 bit of Windows 7 if that makes a difference.

Yes AMD are guilty of being difficult to say the least here, i actually found the legacy drivers once but when i tried to download one it said i needed to sign in first ?? Sign in to what ?? No link or anyhelp as to what you needed to join to sign in to just sign in or cancel :pfff:
Support stopped at 9.2 and they list a 10.2 hotfix driver that works for some and not others it seems from reports from people who have tried it.
You could always try Omega drivers, i have used them before and they are actually based on the 7.12 driver last i looked. Last time i used then was about 8.12 i think, they worked better than those drivers though. In my opinion anyway.

Sorry I'm not much of an expert on this kind of stuff so this might be a dumb question. Do I just try and look up an Omega driver and download that and then put the video card in and it may just work? Is it possible to do damage to my new machine? Would you suggest just going with a new video card? If so I would greatly appreciate some advice on an inexpensive card for duel monitors. I don't do a lot of gaming but like having two monitors to watch something on one screen while doing work on another.

OK. I downloaded the driver and installed it. I then put the video card into my computer but when I tried to start it back up the computer wouldn't turn on. Now what options do I have?
