Question Is there a benefit to installing Steam on the same drive as my games?

I just fired up my new rig and have 2 Samsung 1TB 980 Pro's. So far I have installed the OS and all my programs on the primary C drive. I plan on using the secondary drive D for games. Would it make sense to install Steam on the D drive? Would it have any real world benefit? These 980 pros are ridiculously fast anyways. I have missed entering BIOS a few times because the PC booted before I started pressing delete. LOL.
