Is there a way of telling where the data inside an excel file is taking up so much space?

If you had an excel file that was say 10 megs worth of data. But when you opened it up it was just like charts of plain text. Yet just text shouldn't take up 10 megs of data.

We aren't talking about a lot of numbers here, however I have excel files that are 10 megs and not sure what inside is taking up the space.

Is there a way of showing the text only in excel. Then showing everything else that isn't numbers (like say hidden graphics or whatever). Displaying what is taking up the most amount of space inside excel
