Do not understand what is meant by black smearing, etc..

Take a couple of screenshots and post the screenshots here via imgur (www.imgur.com).
Yep that one.

Its impossible to post a picture, you can just google up black smearing in wow and the first thing that pop ups on youtube, you'll notice.I know its downside of having VA panel, but was curious if theres some kind of way to reduce that

Why is it impossible to post a picture?

Open WoW, play, and when black smearing occurs just take a screenshot.

However, if the smearing is game related (i.e., WoW) then my thought is to move this thread to PC Gaming.

Other WoW players may recognize the problem and be able to offer potential or viable solutions.

I haven't touched mine since I got it years ago so I don't remember what all settings were necessary, but I still had this bookmark so I'm assuming I took what worked from it: https://www.reddit.com/r/buildapcsales/comments/hfte1m/comment/fw0ry4h/

Personally I'd ignore the brightness/contrast/color settings as that can vary from panel to panel and the room you're in.

Typically overdrive and black levels are what impact the smearing most.
