Greetings!

I would like to take your advice.

I have old rig that I mostly used for gaming at the old times, I would like to give it to my brother to play good and new games, and we don't have much to build a new rig for him.

Intel Core I7 875k 2.93ghz 8MB
Cooler Master Hyper 212 for CPU
Asus P7P55D-E Pro motherboard
DDR 3 16GB
EVGA GTX 1050 2GB (This one purchased 1 year back because the old GTX 770 got damaged)
WD 1 TB HDD
I dont remember what was the PSU.

What is the best option to play recent games on this rig?

I am thinking of OCing the CPU to its max capacity but what should I do with the GPU? which one should I use if I am looking to buy used one?

Edit: Meant to link this PSU. 100 more watts and the same price.

The 8gb models do perform slightly faster. Either would work.
The 570 is just a 580 with a lower stream processor count.
The 480 has the same stream processor count as the 580, but lower clocks.
The 570 and 480 perform the same. The 580 is the fastest of the 3.
