Hi, im building a new pc only for gaming and the motherboard that i bought came with an extra 6-pin connector labelled " pd_12v_pwr " , it's on right on the side of the big 24-pin connector.
According to the manual it says that provides additional power to the front panel but also to the PCIe x16 slots 🤔
the build:
cpu : 7800x3d
mother: Asus ProArt B650-CREATOR User’s Manual
ram: 64gb 2x32 6400 mhz
gpu: single Rtx 3090 Asus rog
psu: Seasonic 1000w gold (SSR-1000FX) https://seasonic.com/focus-plus-gold#specification
ssd: 2tb m2 nvme gen4
Can it be left unplugged or is there any risk of damage to something like the gpu?
