Of course, have a known good backup of ALL data on this drive.
Just in case.
You should be doing backups anyway. How would you recommend backing up my drive, I've never had this issue before.
How do you back them up in this software. You should be doing backups anyway.
What would you do if this drive died right now? Even without this conversion procedure.
But...
I use Macrium Reflect for this. Install, run it, save a full drive Image off to some other storage device.
Do you have some other storage device, with enough free space to save your whole C drive? How do you back them up in this software.
Yea I have a 2 tb hdd that can hold it.Do you have some other storage device, with enough free space to save your whole C drive?

On the "Edit the plan for this Backup" page what do I do to just download a backup and not set it on a schedule?
Right. On the "Edit the plan for this Backup" page what do I do to just download a backup and not set it on a schedule?
How do I do that?Right.
For a one time Image, you do not need to save the Schedule.
Also, you should really really create a RescueUSB. Thisis to boot from and recover, in case something goes horribly wrong.

Got an error that says "Backup aborted! - Unable to read from disk - Error Code 23 - Data error (cyclic redundancy check). What does that mean? That link I posted.
During which process?Got an error that says "Backup aborted! - Unable to read from disk - Error Code 23 - Data error (cyclic redundancy check). What does that mean?
That indicates a faulty drive.Actually backing up the drive.
Is it because I am backing up the drive, (a MBR drive) to a GPT drive? There isn't any issues with the said drive. That indicates a faulty drive.
Probably the HDD.
No. The Image does not care. It is just a file.Is it because I am backing up the drive, (a MBR drive) to a GPT drive? There isn't any issues with the said drive.
What are the full specs of this system? My windows and bios do not detect my Samsung 970 NVME drive. I have tried both slots in my mobo and I found out it can't be detected booting Windows in CSM mode. And i can't boot my PC unless it's in CSM mode because my windows drive is MBR meaning it has to be booted in CSM mode.
I have:What are the full specs of this system?
Does it appear in the BIOS at all?Coverted my boot drive to GPT and NVMe ssd still isn't showing. I honestly don't know what to do here, that was my last hope.
Just was able to reboot my PC with CSM off and in Windows UEFI mode(was using "other os" prior). Going to check now!Does it appear in the BIOS at all?
