I applied TF-7 that came with the Thermalright Prism 360 AIO. The system was in the standing position. When I applied TF-7 to the9800X3D, I noticed that it was kinda stringy. It's been awhile since I did a build so I just want to ask. If not I will order some Arctic MX-4.

Any type of paste is fine, especially if you're not stressing the limits by overclocking.
If it's running within expected parameters, don't worry about it.
If it continues to remain on your mind, re-paste it during your next system cleaning.

It is best to have the board flat while applying.

I'm started the assembly and cable mgmt today. Sunday i'm waiting for the GPU and Monday the PSU. I can't check the temps with out those two parts.
