Question Is this a dead pixel or dirt? I tried scratching it off but it doesn't go away. It almost looks like a circle, and u can still see color between them.

Clean the screen only as instructed by the monitor's User guide/manual.

If the spot does not go away then you may need to return the monitor for a replacement.
