Question Is this a good build for what I want or are there better options?

I want to build a new PC and with an rtx 4070 ti, the $800 asus tuf model, it doesn't look like it's too difficult to get once in stock. But I am still debating if I should wait for a price drop on the 4000 series or just build now. I already have plenty of nvme and ssd from my current PC and I am going to get a 27inch 1440p 144hz monitor at some point and currently use a 65inch C9, but I sit about 8 feet away. Targeting at least 120fps at 1440p or at least 60fps at 4k resolution with high settings and no ray tracing for all modern games.

So far this is what I picked out:

CPU: https://www.microcenter.com/product...ga-1700-boxed-processor-heatsink-not-included

Motherboard:
Can't decide between going for a cheaper motherboard or if a more expensive motherboard will help. I don't plan on overclocking. All these boards pretty much have enough usb/sata/ports for what I need.

If I want to have 4 case fans and my motherboard only has 3 fan headers will I be able to allow the motherboard to control the fan speeds if I use a splitter so the fans aren't always running at 100%?

RAM: https://www.microcenter.com/product...nnel-desktop-memory-kit-f4-3200c16d-32g-black

PSU, 750 watts is recommended for a 4070 ti but for a few bucks more is this corsair a much better PSU compared to the evga?

You can recommend a cpu air cooler, I want something quite so I am considering a noctua model.

Is this a good build today for what I want or should I swap some parts around and why.

Is this a good time to build or should I wait a couple of months? I want to build a new PC but I am not really in a rush, as long as I build something by lets say May.

If you're getting a K suffix processor, it makes sense to get a Z series motherboard for future prospects. I'd also pair a DDR4-3600MHz ram kit, not a DDR4-3200Hz ram kit. As for the PSU, I'd stick with a higher wattage unit, pays dividends to have some headroom in all arena's. I'd advise on an AIO...what is the make and model of the case you're working with?

The specs for that CPU on Intel's website says up to ddr4 3200 MT/s, how would getting faster ram help?

Since I'm not over clocking is there a non k version of that CPU because I didn't find one or is it still beneficial to get a k version CPU?

I really don't want to deal with an aio, a good air cooler wouldn't be enough? I'm not using an i9 or a 4090.

I haven't chosen a case yet.

AIO are the best my 12900k is idle betweek 25-40 and its really good at cooling down CPU!

If you plan to run 13th gen cpu on 12th gen motherboards be sure it has the correct bios. Depends on how old the stock is but since you will have to go to microcenter anyway most times there is a sticker on the box that tells you the bios level.
Lookup the minimum supported bios that works.

Many people on this forum are waiting to see how good the x3d chips from amd are. They are likely out of your price range they more will compare with 13700k or 13900k

If your not planning on overclocking consider a 13500 cpu.

Mobo.....b660/760 whichever has the features you want.

Psu....quality 850w.
