This is my build: http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/N7CYzy
I plan to get another gtx 970 for 2-way sli. should I get a better cpu or the cpu in the list is good enough? Do I need another power supply as well? Thank you.

Small changes suggested above.

Great build. Well thought out.

should I get a cpu cooler or the stock cooler is good enough? So the updated part list : http://au.pcpartpicker.com/p/dsmsCJ

Selected: better CPU, cheaper but very decent case, cheaper ram (no real performance change), also a cheaper SSD (for gaming you wont notice performance difference)

You can change your CPU to http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/intel-cpu-bx80646e31230v3 )a slightly older version of the CPU I suggested but almost the same performance, difference is minimal.

http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Xeon+E3-1231+v3+%40+3.40GHz
http://www.cpubenchmark.net/cpu.php?cpu=Intel+Xeon+E3-1230+v3+%40+3.30GHz

I don't think you will need cpu cooler with E3, but if you do fell the need you can buy this http://au.pcpartpicker.com/part/cooler-master-cpu-cooler-rrvtps28pkr1 You will not need much better then this.

difference between i5-4690k and i5-1230v3 is 6$ and between that i5 and E3-1231 is 20$, not 100$.

you can go with s cheaper i5, but the E3 is better at multitasking an more future proof. But the ir-4460 is a very good CPU, and if added to my build would also give very good performance, for a better price.
