If that's a list vs prebuilt, it would be best if you show it with prices on each part, so we know where you can save.

I can tell you though that a 800w PSU is way more than you need for a 970, which will run on a 500w fine. Also, the 390 is now the better card for the same price, but it requires a 30 amp, 550-600w PSU, vs 28 amp, 500w.

Also, Skylake and DDR4 in general is showing to be no better for gaming than 1150 CPUs and DDR3. A 4970k does just as well as a 6700k. You're really only buying a slightly better chipset with Z170.

This is a custom pre-built computer and also I am going to add another 970 later on, and also 1150 CPUs aren't really on sale and these were.

I thought it might be a prebuilt since you didn't really do an itemized part list.

That might seem like a good deal since it's 1151 with DDR4 and the 6700, but in reality, for gaming specifically, an 1150 platform system with DDR3 will do just as well, and you can build one with that GPU for a lot less.

I would go with the 390 though, which is the new king at that price point.

So basically, you risking a entire system with a pretty hot and at times power hungry card, and the PSU claims it outputs 800 watts, when it could only deliver maybe 400. Unless you know the quality of it, I'd never risk it. Way to many reports of PSUs basically sparking and exploding.

So not sure if you think I am just full of BS, in terms of that comment, because I am sure no one wants to have a risk in there PC...

I'm hoping the Octo Zen Core Summit Ridge will make the Hex Core 5820k look silly in performance and price. Getting kinda tired of Intel's little to no improvement, esp when they force a new socket on you.

Well yeah, obviously it's worse when AMD's CPUs aren't very good, but Intel have been switching sockets each gen and charging pretty high prices for years. It's just that now they get away with doing it while offering no real performance increase.

As financially crippled as AMD are, we still desperately need them.

You know $1 doesn't matter that much but look you more cores for $1 cheaper i know it is useless but thing is that it last longer than 6700k i qould go for 5820k because same price but more cores

Jeez, are you even following what's actually being said here? :sarcastic:
