Is this a good deal for an i5 8400? It seems too good to be true?

So someone on ebay is selling an i5 8400 for 30 quid. They only allow you to buy one CPU per person. Is it legit or a scam? My instincts are telling me to stay away but it seems like a really good deal. What do you all think? Any thoughts?

It's way too cheap to be legit, especially now when prices are actually quite high from legit retailers.

Plus the seller is fairly new with no ratings, not a good sign.

Thanks! I didn't know if it was on clearance or something. Say a company is closing and they have to get rid of old stock. But yeah I will probably get a new one if I have enough money.

Even so, the company would need to recoup as much money as they could before they went under and considering it's still a fairly new CPU it really wouldn't make much sense. Now if it was the 7400 or 6400 used then the price would make a bit more sense.

Seller: jd1b91dg616 (0) says everything. Prolly been busted by eBay in the past for scams. Nobody with any creditable reputation would use a name like that for sure.

Yeah I just wanted to point out this CPU. I didn't really think it was genuine. Seems like a scam. I don't want to report them though in case they are legit. But it sucks that you can't really tell. Though the feedback on the seller is an inclination.
