[SOLVED] Is this a good deal on 32gb of ram?

Since ram prices are so good now I thought I would invest in 32gb of ram. It says it's 3000 mhz and I could always overclock it to 3200mhz but I don't know because in the specs list it says it is 2400mhz with 3000 mhz in brackets. You should never get two of a single DIMM part number. Always get a matched set (two DIMMs in a part number).

You will have to enable XMP or Docp in bios to get the ram kit to run at rated speed.
Otherwise it will run at 2133 or 2400.

I thought putting two single sticks would make it dual channel? Or is that wrong? In that case I will get a dual channel kit for sure.

It will run in dual channel if installed in the right slot.
I would just buy a dual channel kit for best compatibility.
