is this a good gaming computer for 500 dollars?

Solution
Why the need for 2 PSUs? The build I listed is better. Why?
Mobo: better for overclocking and at a great price. And you could add a $30 cooler and get a 4.3-4.4GHz overclock.
Case: One of the best budget cases out there and it comes with 3 fans.
GPU: PowerColor is low end. Get a Sapphire one instead.
PSU: Bettter quality and semi-modular. win win.

?? Very true my old 850W Antec gold certified blew up.... Needless to say they are cheap and horrible psu's where is your evidence that proves otherwise??
Also the CX500 comes with a 3 year warranty that covers all the parts in your case?? So again how can you prove me otherwise??
You have no clue what your talking about get off this forum and stop telling lies to people who are seeking the right advise.

Ha. Thanks. I can't wait to have a good laugh at the bar......then this guy says the CX is better than the HCG...(insert laughs).

Actually, shut the **** up, foolishcreature. Antec HCG 620W is made by SeaSonic, based on their own offering the S12II 620W. Very heavily reliable. And the CX500 at low budgets are fine, but at $500 components are cheap enough to give your build better reliability. The tier list proves otherwise, but is generally not the best way to compare things.

As for the OP's build, it's decent, though you need better case and PSU.
This build has lackluster GPU power, but the CPU is better for gaming at the price.
