Is this a good gaming pc?

So this is my first pc and I wanted to know if its good for gaming, I would like to be able to run games like fallout 4, skyrim and gta v aswell as some multiplayer games here are the specs

2.83ghz
2TB
8gb ram
Nvidia gtx 650 2gb
Intel core 2 quad
Dedicated graphics.

Not ideal. You may struggle with some of those games.

You want to play triple AAA titles, for that it doesn't seem like a good PC at all. Very outdated specs.

yeah, that cpu is pushing nearly a decade old at this point (8 to 9 years old)

Retro or classic gaming yes, new games, no. You can either look at it as the glass is half empty, or half full.

You could opt for Saints Row the third, (or others) instead of GTA5. Farcry3 that it's based on should also run.

Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare and older ones. COD1 will run maxed out. I have that game, it's still a decent game. I have the original version on CD.

FEAR1, maybe 2.

Im pretty sure Skyrim will run on med settings at 720p or on other monitors below 1080p. A 1080p monitor will work with the game set to run at 720p and the monitor does some 2d upscaling.

Mass effect 1 and 2 should run. Unreal 3, anything based on it.

GTA vice city will run maxed out and at least run smooth and be fun to play, vs. choppy or with poor fps and the settings turned down.

There is a COD1, 2 and others demos, Serious sam2 demo, Dirt2 demo, Unreal 2004 demo, Fear demo. ECT.

Try a few demos, see what runs nice first.
