I would like to know if these specs can be good for a gaming pc. I am really new at this and i want to build a good gaming pc that is preferably better than the ps4 specs and will last me a few years without upgrading anything. Also, the link is here:

I am grateful for any additional info you guys could provide, for ex, how much will a pc cost minimally that will beat the ps4 or xbox720 specs and last about 1-3 years more with any new games on at least medium-high settings.

Solution
Hey, you could always start. 2 months ago, I didn't know a thing about computers. Now I'm a forum regular here. Buying my own build in 3 weeks, so I had to tweak to perfectness. Anyway, here's the final build, nothing changed.

Ah, this is good news. If the 290x is 550, that means the 290 is going to be about 450 by my estimation. That means all the more to me. I can overclock it make a Titan killer. But i dont care about Titan. The 290X beats it in many tests.

Anywyas, the 290 probably beats the 780 and for $200 less. I couldn't rejoice more.

NVidia is releasing a 780Ti specifically because the 780 will be buried by the 290x.

I highly doubt the 290 won't be on equal footing with a stock 780 and even beat it in some applications. Plus, from what I hear, the 290 and 290X both have some very good overclocking headroom.

Well, ballers, looks like it might be going on till November now.

Anywyas, one of my IRL friends decided to ruin my R9-290 party. You know what he did? He suggested a 280X tri-monitor eyefinity instead of the infinitely more powerful 290. Now, i looked up the price of the monitor i bought, and it turned out that i could buy it for $145. Since the 280X DCII costs 320, the whole total came up to be $524, which i expect to be near the total of the 290.

I HAVE A DILEMMA. (this is probably why people dislike teenagers so much)

I could either go with the 280X and have an amazing Eyefinity setup and gaming experience, or go with the oh so cool 290 and have a longer gaming life before upgrading.

I CAN'T CHOOSE!!!

800 cheapest Zotac in Germany.

And local store cheapest Titan is over 918 €!!

That is why I do order from Germany my parts. 30 for shipping is cheap if still save 70 on video card :)

Here GTX 770 is about 300 price. (when on sale)
Normal price is near 400

Looks like R9 290 X is better on eyeinfinity gaming. Higher resolution is better it seems work.

I really don't think that its powerful enough for eyefinity and what i'm trying to achieve because all the reviewers have said it isn't and some other people i asked said the same thing. I'll go with the 290, as i can buy the third monitor next year.

It can handle eyefinity gaming, however, if you're running more than 2 screens at resolutions greater than 1080p, it can be a burden.

The 290 will likely be better than a 770 and almost a 780.

For 3 screens I recommend multiple GPUs...but a 280X or better could do 2 screens pretty easily I would think.

For older games and Call of Duty other games it would be but battlefield 3 and 4 and Crysis 3 and other games the Far Cry 3 it just not going to be powerful enough. I have three Asus 23.6" VE247H monitors hook up to two Gigabyte GTX 670 2GB and mine awesome.

Well, 280X >/= GTX 770, and has more VRAM...though I wouldn't run 3 monitors at 1080p on ultra with newest games, it would probably run them at medium with no qualms at all over 50 FPS.

Ultimately, if you want to game on Ultra settings, get the 290. If you don't mind medium to play on 2-3 screens, get the 280X.

I think i'll just go with the 290 for now. I'll only be gaming on one monitor with the 290. I still haven't fully decided if i want to get the 290 instead of the monitors, but i'm leaning towards the 290. I think i'll just get the cheaper option and that's probably the 290 considering that the monitor and 280x option costs 594 without tax. Ah well, i'll get the monitor next year.

Well... Um...

I convinced them...

Um, i'm going to look for a desk that's good enough, i have my eyes on a fredde, but we'll go hunting soon enough, and i've already made all the necessary measurements.

I'll take the other keyboard off the list.
