Is this a good PC build?

I'm building my very first PC. It will be mainly used for gaming, as well as programming and entertainment purposes.

Components:

CPU : Intel i5 6500

MoBo : ASUS B150M Pro Gaming

RAM: Kingston HyperX Savage 2x8 GB @2133 MHz / Corsair Vengeance 2X8 GB @2133MHz

HDD : WD Caviar Blue 1TB

Cabinet : Corsair Air 240 Black

GPU : MSI Gaming X RX 480 8GB / MSI Armor RX 480 8GB

PSU : Seasonic S12II 620 watt

The doubts that I have, is a 620 watt Seasonic PSU would be enough for my build? The price difference between MSI Gaming X RX480 and MSI Armor RX 480 is ~Rs. 2,000 (~USD 30). Which one should I choose? Is my Motherboard good enough to handle all these components?

Thanks.

1. I'd go for faster ram - ddr 4 3200 is cheap now. Plenty of cpu heavy games benefit.
2. Drop an ssd in
3. S12 is good and should be fine. I had 2 of them and north of 450w the fan span like crazy...but your system should pull way less. Good quality PSU.

Just my opinion

Your build is perfectly fine i see no bottleneck or compatibility/space issues... Since seasonic is actually one of the best PSU manifacturers and also a very trustful PSU you will absolutly no problems with it. You will have a bit of room for some improvements BUT keep in mind its not massive enough to sli with a second 480 if you ever plan to do...
I prefear the MSI version of the 480 just cause i think MSI has improved a lot in its building quality on its latest products...

1> The 620W S12II is enough to support any single CPU+GPU configuration.

2> You may want to look for tear down of the two RX480 cards because I know that for the GTX 1080, the Armor OC and the Gaming X use exactly the same board, just a different color scheme and LED; the 1080 ARMOR can or at least could be BIOS flashed to maintain the same OC clock as its Gaming X brother.

3> The ASUS B150M Pro Gaming board is a solid pick which has everything one would need and no excess fluff.

Finally built the PC(almost). Except GPU, everything is ready. There are couple of changes in my build though. MSI Gaming X can't be put into Corsair Air 240, so I chose Corsair 400C. HyperX Savage is not available in my place, so I went with HyperX Fury 2133Mhz 1 x 8GB. I'll add one more 8 GB kit when I buy the GPU. I have chosen LG 22MP68VQ-P monitor. :)

I'm building from scratch. That means no reusing of old parts. Not even a monitor. With the components that I had shared in the above posts, it cost me INR 54,874 (~$808) without the GPU. MSI Gaming X RX 480 8GB is costing me INR 25,000 - 26,000. What do you suggest?

You will get all the above components on Amazon.in
With i5-6600 and GTX 1070 this will crush any game at 1080p for a long time. And all the components are of high quality. Also included 250GB SSD.

^ Thanks for the suggestion. However, the RM 450 is a tier three PSU. I'd choose SeaSonic over others any day. That's my preference though. I deliberately went with AMD because of their sheer ability handle DX 12 much better than Nvidia. And my budget was 75K-80K including Case and monitor. The build you're suggesting would have cost me almost 100K. Once again, thanks for your suggestion but I'm good with my part selection.

There is no 16GB kit in less than ₹8,000 which is very high. So practically getting 2 8GB sticks makes sense. There is 99.9% of chances that they both will work together.
Yes my bad, RM PSU is not good. Go for Seasonic. If going for bronze PSU get 550W PSU instead of 450W so that it is stressed less even under load.

^ It doesn't matter where I live since the parts you suggested are from amazon.in It would cost 100K because a decent monitor would cost almost 10K and a good case would be 5-6K. By the way, i5 6600 costs 18K not 15K. That's 3K more and that's how it would cost 100K.

By the way, when burgessanthony said a single kit of matched RAM, he meant 2x8GB only, I guess.

If I say that I can fit the nearly the same performance for that budget including Monitor and case only by removing SSD and providing only 8GB RAM. then it should be fine.

Will provide the link to the case in a sec.

The thing is GTX 1070 Mini is not available here in India. I don't wanna take the risk of importing it with no warranty. More over, G-Sync monitor is quite expensive compared to freesync. The monitor that I bought is 8.5K and freesync supported. Forget the case, I'm someone who is more of a look and feel guy.. That case doesn't suit my taste, hence went with Corsair 400C. By the way, let's end this thing. I'm good with my selection. It has the perfect balance of performance and feel. Thanks anyways.

Wow are you sure that you got a free-sync monitor for 8.5K because at that low price I don't think there is one available. Please can you list it.

If you want GTX1070 with warranty get this
http://www.amazon.in/EVGA-GeForce-Whisper-Graphics-08G-P4-6171-KR/dp/B01H74VTBK/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1483284116&sr=8-3&keywords=gtx%2B1070%2Bevga&tag=gdextf-in-21

There is a model available for ₹33,300(₹32,750+₹660) in the above link get that. Even that is imported and as per Amazon.in site the warranty gets void. But that being the EVGA GPU you will get the warranty as it is covered under EVGA Global Warranty.

^ Yep. I bought LG 22MP68VQ-P. It is a freesync monitor. The MRP is around 11K, I guess. However, from computer shops and online, it is available for 8.5-9K. EVGA doesn't have service centers in India so there is no use with their so-called "International warranty". Another thing is, for 1080p gaming at 60 Hz, I think RX 480 would be enough.
