Is this a good quality PSU?

Solution
FSP is a source manufacturer for a number of oem power supplies.
I would not classify them as bad, but I think there are a good number of tier 1 or 2 units out there that can be bought for a similar or lesser price.
Look for Seasonic, XFX, Antec for starters.

A GTX980ti can run on 600w, 550w with a good quality psu.
I have no problem overprovisioning a PSU a bit. Say 20%.
It will run cooler, quieter, and more efficiently in the middle third of it's range.
A PSU will only use the wattage demanded of it, regardless of it's max capability.

what is your current system and what gpu are you planning to upgrade to? Even a 980ti+i7 only consumes 500 or so watts from a nice quality power supply from tier one in the list above.

I5 6600k and gtx 960 planning to upgrade to gtx 970 or 980

Solution

So interest of the fsp raider should I get the seasonic g series 650 watt gold?

That would probably be my top pick also.
You are good.

Ok thanks, I'll see if I can swap it out for the seasonic :)
