I have never built a PC before, and I would like to get into it. And, I would like to know, how exactly do I know if my parts will work together or not and if its a good gaming pc?

Here is my build, I don't know if it works together. So, if it doesn't please don't make fun of me.

All good, except i wouldn't be buying that GPU these days. Wait for the non-reference RX480s to be out. Really.

get a z170 mobo like the asrock fataly gaming k4 and that rx 480 4gb version

Go for a 6500 or 6600 if you are going for the H170 board. If you are going for the 6600K go for the Z170 board
