Is this an ACTIVE adapter? (For my 1050Ti)

Hello.
I recently got the 1050Ti and i found out that i needed an 'Active adapter' in order to connect my GPU to the monitor ( which supports only VGA).
I looked around the net and found one which says it converts DP Signal to Analog VGA signal. But i had to make sure. Here it is:

It doesnt say its active, but since it says it converts the signal i thought it might work with my GPU and monitor.

Yes, that is an active adapter, sometimes called a D/A converter. It is "active" because it uses the 3.3 V 500 mA power present on the DP interface to power the device. However, some of those work well, some not so much.
