Any tips? Am i missing anything? I bought a bunch of fans for the case so thats taken care of. Are there any upgrades worth the money? Should I downgrade some things that aren't worth the money? The system is ~900$. Also, could anyone estimate average FPS in say, Crysis 2, Skyrim, and even Minecraft (with Fraps on high settings, maybe a mod or two.) I'm fine with lowering some settings for more fps, but not to the point where the shapes are super defined. Thanks for helping! By the way, should I get a network card? Would that help with some online games where ping might be an issue?

Hi mate , yeah if you're after gaming. Get the AMD FX 4170 it comes out with better benchmarks , although the 4300 is better for rendering. Also IF you can if you do keep the 4300 , buy an aftermarker cpu cooler so you can overclock the processor from 3.8Ghz to maybe 4.2Ghz which will give you a nice speed. Also don't worry about the network card , waste of money you wont really feel a difference also if you can try invest and get an SSD because no point making a good system and leaving an SSD out. The SSD will give a HUGE boost when opening files , opening apps , start up , shutdowns etc.

Hope I helped :)
