My old m5a97 motherboard fried and I'm going for a budget build capable of using the same gpu gtx 1060.

I'm really on a tight budget here and I'm not going to OC any of my components. I just need a budget solution for a short term that also has some room for an upgrade.

I came up with this build:

Motherboard: ASUS PRIME H310M-K R2.0
CPU: Intel Core i3 8100 3.6GHz
Memory: 2x Crucial 8GB Ballistix Sport LT RED DDR4 2400Mhz
GPU: Gtx 1060 6GB

Couple years later I might upgrade my cpu to i5 8400.
Will these components work with each other? Will I have problems? I'm open to any suggestions.

For an extra 10 bucks I would go Ryzen 5 2600 with a good b450 board. Better upgrade possibilities and better performance over the i3 8100 (2 more cores).

I run one with 16GB DDR4 3000 and a 6GB 1060 GPU and its superb in every game I throw at it (1080p 144Hz).

Ryzen 5 2600 is 45 bucks more expensive in where I live. Also b450 is almost twice as expensive unfortunately :(
