yes, what i would get

you can find a r7250 correct?

if you can't get that and budget is too tight you can shave 4 gbs of ram too, you can add 4 later to get 8 in total

r7 350 is a bit unpopular, is mostly for asia markets but sometimes you see couple on stores, it is cheap, almost as good as the 759ti and is cheap

the r7 250, i have one here, is decent enough for gaming at hd resolutions like 720p or 768p

remember that if some of the programs you use for video editing uses cuda to accelerate the process, a amd gpu will not be useful at all, only for gaming because cuda is nvidia technology and amd can't use that


You need a stronger CPU for editing and definitely more ram as editing and encoding can take up gobs of ram. The video card would do OK for casual gaming. I would personally get a 1050 ti. It would cost more but get better performance. I think there is one on sale if you are an amazon prime member. Click here

This will have much better performance for the price range. 105 with rebate compared to about 70.
