this is my setup and im going to overclock my gpu and i was wondering if this fan is good for it(dont worry about the motherboard im getting it from another website thats just a reference because its not showing up on pcpartpicker)

The cooler you use for a cpu has little relation to overclocking a gpu.

FWIW, I would not build with the current FX processors today if your use id for gaming.

1. I think you really meant a cpu cooler(aka fan). If your intent is to overclock the cpu, then yes, a better than stock cooler is necessary.
You also, for the fx series need a better than average motherboard.

The FX series have been around for a long time and have been bypassed by intel for gaming.
The FX cores are slow, and most games depend on the speed of a single master thread for performance. Most games can only effectively use 2-3 threads.
