I have 3 fans in the front of my case and 1 in the back. I believe they are 120mm fans. here is the link to the case that im using.https://www.amazon.ca/Rosewill-Computer-Tempered-Liquid-cooling-Pre-installed/dp/B06XY9G7ZC/ref=sr_1_2?crid=2J7ZDHVALDMPL&keywords=rosewill%2Bcase&qid=1551392918&s=gateway&sprefix=rosewill%2Caps%2C205&sr=8-2&th=1

The fans are set up exactly the way you see them in the picture on amazon. Do I need to get 3 more to put on top of the case or is 4 case fans enough?

Solution
The case is going to be the limiting factor more than anything else.
"3 sides Tempered Glass" and "good for cooling" rarely go hand in hand.

Might want to consider something liek the Spec-04-TG
PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Case: Corsair - Carbide SPEC-04 TG ATX Mid Tower Case ($59.99 @ Canada Computers)
Total: $59.99
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

Ships with 1x LED fan, and you could add a couple more and still come in vastly cheaper than the Rosewill offering.

The answer is "that depends"

If You already have this case, just try it out and monitor the temps at full load for Your setup... If it gets too hot - do something about it.

  • what cpu+mobo?
  • do You plan to overclock?
  • is it the air or water cooling?
  • what's the cooling model? is it stock or not?
  • what are acceptable temperatures for this type of cpu, mobo vrm and graphics?
  • what graphcs do You use ? (it may generate more or less additional heat inside. if it overheats, the performance/GPU clocks may drop)
etc etc etc.

P.S. Also remember, that it gets hotter in the summer

I have the case already I am using a ryzen 5 2600, evga 650 80+ gold, msi gtx 1060 6gb and an msi x470 motherboard. While gaming my gpu get to around 65-67c. with vsync on it goes to like 60-62. my cpu only gets to like 55c while gaming. Are these good temperatures or at least acceptable?
