Hi All,

What i would like to ask is if my CPU is going to bring down the performance of my Graphics Card when gaming, and if it will bottleneck its performance. (Rate My Build)

Specs:
CPU= Amd Sempron 3850
GPU= R7 250 2GB
RAM= 8GB

Thanks,

Overclocking the 860K is easy too because you can just turn your multiplier to 4.5, not adjust the voltage, with the stock cooler and still have a stable machine more often than not. It is a top pick for anyone building a gaming machine on a tight budget.
No, absolutely not. This will be much better:

It appears you are on a strict budget given your chosen components. I would recommend this as the base of your build in that case. The G3258 is a strong choice too, but on an H81 board you won't be able to overclock it which is what helps that chip excel. With the 860K you get the most efficient architecture AMD has to offer which isn't too far behind Intel now and you get 4 real cores.

I would get a tier 1 psu. Also, 600w psu isn't necessary.

I would get a tier 1 psu 430w psu from seasoniic. Also, i would get an overclockable mobo.

sorry for the confusion XD

Oh Its a Pre-Built computer, and ive purchased these upgrades:
Sapphire Radeon R7 250 2GB
2x4GB Hyper X Fury Ram
(They are on the way)

All i wish to know is if my CPU is going to "bottleneck" the gpus performance?

Pre-built often isn't the way to go when you want to upgrade straight away.

It gets kinda complex working out what is the best CPU for your motherboard.

I think you are on a AM2 motherboard, but I can not be sure.

Let us know what motherboard and power supply you have so we know what you can upgrade to without buying a brand new motherboard.
