Is this good for a low budget Gaming PC?

I am looking for a budget all around pc. I am mainly looking to render/watch HD video and game at a high fps. I have compiled a list of potential parts and I would like opinions about there usability and compatibility. I am considering using the 8gb of ddr4 ram out of the laptop I am writing this on as well as the 500gb hdd in addition to the 250 gb ssd I have in this list.

Processor-AMD RYZEN 3 1300X 4-Core 3.5 GHz (3.7 GHz Turbo) Socket AM4 65W YD130XBBAEBOX Desktop Processor
Motherboard-ASUS PRIME B350-PLUS AM4 AMD B350 SATA 6Gb/s USB 3.1 USB 3.0 HDMI ATX Motherboards - AMD

You can't use the laptop memory in a desktop PC so that option won't happen.

As for the ram you need a Dual Channel Kit, 2x 4GB Kit.

The PSU is complete junk.

Made some changes here.

K, thanks, good to know. Would there be any way I could cut down on the cost without sacrificing much performance?

You could go with a Ryzen 3 1200 and slightly cheaper ram.

2400 ram is too slow for Ryzen
deepcool case is not good quality
this psu is newer model and better

If you render a lot, get Ryzen 1400 instead for extra ~40 to get its 8 threads, Ryzen 3 only has 4 threads.

BTW, Laptop ddr4 vs PC ddr4 is not about boot or not, the pins on the ram are different: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H-eezBwy3JE

Ok thx, this seems like the way I may go. Since ddr3 itself and ddr3 compatible components are cheaper could I go that way? I was thinking I could get better components for the money I have if I went ddr3 and it might make up for it being older.
I was thinking if I go ddr3 I could get this 8 core processor for the same price as the 4 core ddr4 one {AMD - FX-8350 4.0GHz 8-Core Processor}

NO, that's worse.

The FX series was pathetic when it was new.

Nope, totally waste of money, comparison: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=azX4Qs7n2_Q

I'm assuming no but does that case have fans?

Wow, this thread is old.
I really thank you all for your help!! I love my computer and it wouldn't have happened without your help!!
Thanks for saving me from the idea of buying the fx8350. As I gain knowledge of computers I realize just what a mess faildozer is, and I keep begging a relative to upgrade from their overclocked 6300.
I ended up getting mostly vapours list, although not exactly what he said due to a few inconveniences.
I found a cheaper PNY1050 on sale with a good warranty, so I bought that instead. I used the system with an old laptop HDD while waiting for SSD prices to drop, but eventually upgraded to a 120gb boot drive and 240gb game drive, with the laptop HDD as an incredibly slow USB 2 game drive. The pc mate mobo would only work with 1 ram dimm no matter what I did, so I returned it and bought an MSI B350 Gaming Plus. Now all of my ram works fine.
I have been using this system happily for a little over a year!
Specs I have right now:
CPU: Ryzen 3 1200 @3.7ghz 1.275v - Anything clocks above 3.7ghz requires much more voltage and leaves the CPU on the brink of throttling. I love the performance of this CPU, although I may upgrade this once 7nm prices have settled in and I decide I like one of the new CPUs model's price to performance.
Motherboard: MSI B350 Gaming Plus motherboard - I love the boards color scheme and power delivery, although the PC Mate wasn't a bad option if it had worked properly.
Ram: 2x4GB G.Skill Ripjaws V 3200mhz DDR4 ram - Running stable with rated clocks and rated speed.
GPU PNY GTX 1050 2gb - stable +100mhz on core and +575mhz on VRAM. Performs decent most of the time, although it will be the first thing I upgrade since it likes to black screen periodically (it has done this 3 times typing this, and it even happens at stock speeds) and it struggles in some titles. This may be a DVI cable issue since the cable I bought is incredibly cheap and came from a CCTV seller.
Case NZXT S340 black and red. I love this case. The build quality, features, and looks are amazing even though its an older model now. The looks blend well with my red led motherboard and white RGB lighting I have in the case.
PSU Corsair CX550M 80+ Bronze. It works as expected and is quiet.
Storage HP S700 120gb SSD boot drive + Kingston SA400 240gb game drive - I wish I had boughten a faster boot drive from a better brand, but it allows my pc to boot in under 25 seconds.
