is this good for pc gaming

i want to play wicher III, and assassincs creed games on high. i plan to upgrade my current pc.

my current specs

cpu intel i3 2100 3.1ghz
gpu GTS 450
psu SL500G
motherboard GIGABYTE H61M-D2-B3
ram 4 gb (2x2}

i plan to change the ram,cpu and gpu

cpu intel I7 3770 3.4ghz
gpu MSI geforce 960 gaming 4gb or 2gb (havent decided yet)
ram Kingston 8GB, DDR3, 1600MHz, CL9, Kit of 2, HyperX Savage Red

tell me any problems you see with this.

Save money get an i5 3rd gen CPU instead .

If you can get the i7-3770 for a good price go for it. It's a very strong processor.

I suggest the GTX 960 2GB over the 4GB one. it has improvements on a small amount of games the 4GB, but not enough.

get a i5 3rd gen like the i5 3570k and get a better gpu like the r9 390
that will be performing a lot better than the i7 and gtx 960.
since for gaming mainly a strong graphics card is what you need, So you will be better of with a i5 3rd gen along with a r9 390

Comes with a higher price tag aswell. i5-3570k can't be overclocked on a cheap H61M really so It's not going to be performing better than the i7-3770.
