Solution

For bitmining using two overclocked Sapphire TOXIC R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 cards the Seasonic X-850 (SS-850KM3 Active PFC F3) is not considered to be sufficient.

Heed Sapphire's recommendation of at least 1000 Watts or greater. You should not be continuously drawing over 80% of the PSU's total capacity or you...
SS-1000XP Active PFC F3
• 80PLUS® Platinum Certified Super High Efficiency
• Tight Voltage Regulation [±2%]
• 7 Years Warranty

SS-1050XM Active PFC F3
• 80PLUS® Gold Certified Super High Efficiency
• Tight Voltage Regulation [±3%] (i.e. based on an older circuit design)
• 5 Years Warranty

The fan noise and temperature will be lower on the SS-1000XP Active PFC F3 because at the same power draw level the fan will be spinning at a lower speed and the higher efficiency will result in about a 3°C lower operating temperature.

Thank you. That link helped me understand about the ratings :)

That's a great explanation on what i had expected. Thank you very much.. I would be getting this PSU : SS-1050XM Active PFC F3
