Is this graphic card good enough?

I have budget that can afford Nvidia GeForce GTX 750 ti 1 GB DDR5 (not 2 gb). I want to know if i will be able to run newer game (2015-2016) on low-medium settings with some lower resolutions. Other components will be i3 4160 3.60 Ghz and 8 GB RAM, but i primarily(don't know if i spelled it correctly english is not my native language) want to know about graphic card because most of the new games require 2 GB DDR5 or so. Thanks in advance!

Imo, 1gb is too low. It might be ok with lower resolutions, games won't look so good. Probably equal or less than a Xbox 360 game.
