Is this PSU good enough for my build?

Hey just trying to plan for the future here, I'm only going to be purchasing the one GTX 770 at the moment but in the future I'm going to want to add another (and another couple sticks of ram) without buying another power supply.
Do you think this one will be up to the task? Planning on OC CPU.

nvida 770 has an 42Amper recommendation for the the 12v rail so with 2x770 and according to this http://www.realhardtechx.com/index_archivos/Page362.htm an 850w like the seasonic you mentioned will be enough. by the way seasonic is one of the top psu manufacturers. also an xfx- evga-antec-corsair will do the job. as for the efficiency, the better, the lower the ilectrical bill. at least a 80plus bronze is recommende though

I agree go with a larger power supply of about 850W-1000W. A Seasonic (x-series or platinum) or a Corsair (HX, RM, AX or AXi) would be a great choice.
Look on NCIX.com and Newegg.com they have both of those brands of PSUs on sale sometimes.

Dear, when it comes to PSU, pl remember this is not just cost but an investment to safe guard the other components of the system. There are two things with PSU one is Load and the other is Stress. In order to make it easier all that you need to check is the efficiency of the PSU. To help things out, 80+ certification is there but it is not necessary that PSUs not having this certification will not work.

AX760 is 80+Platinum which means it would be giving you 95% or above efficiency theoretically. If you've budget go for AX800 series. In my view AX760 will be enough for your GPU. For SLI go with 800+W.

Always check the 80+ certification reading (Platinum, Gold, Bronze, Silver) and the efficiency. You may also consider sound level of the fan in terms of dBA.

Happy Hunting!

If it worked for him why not me? I have a 120ish dollar budget for this PSU so do I go with a platinum rated corsairax 760w or the bronze rated seasonic 850w? Any better alternatives in my price range?
