Question Is this RAM compatible with my PC? (DDR3L in DDR3 Slot)

Hi there, I'm wanting to upgrade from 2x4GB( 8GB DDR3) to 2x8GB (16GB DDR3L)

My specs are:
CPU: i5 4440 @3.1ghz
Motherboard: ipm87-mp
Ram: 2x4gb (8GB) 1600mhz
GPU: GTX 960 2GB Founders Edition
PSU: Thermaltake 600 W

My question is, is DDR3L compatible with DDR3 slots? According to this website, my motherboard only supports DDR3. I'm thinking of buying this ram kit (2x8GB DDR3L @1600mhz) would this work with my PC?

Any answers/advice is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

EDIT: I ran crucial's system ram compatibility program and it led to the ram kit I linked that I'm considering buying.

DDR3L is perfectly compatible with DDR3, according to Samsung, Hynix, etc. and even have the same absolute maximum voltage rating of 1.875V.
