Hi,
My quantum fireball lct10 should according to quantum not make more than 27,8db. But my quantum fireball lct10 sounds terrible and I can barley stand the noise. I tested the harddrive with the tools provided on quantums' homepage, but the scans I did didn't detect any errors on my harddrive. 27,8dB is silent right, but why isn't mine silent????
Any help or suggestions are welcomed

What do you hear? Clicking, grinding?

It's the highpitch noise that most harddrives' make wille not loading data, but much stronger. Feels like it's cutting into my head. It sounds worse than the old harddrive that my uncle has had for 5years now.

I don't think it's supposed to much such a terrible noise!
May be a defective drive.
