[SOLVED] Is this ssd dramless? How do i check ( oem ssd)

I believe Crystal Disk Info can tell you, if it has 'VolatileWriteCache' listed as one of the features it would indicate the presence of a DRAM cache. Given the specs of it I would expect it to be DRAMless. Any specific reason your checking?

But, you presumably already own this, and that dram cannot be changed.
If it is definitively found to be lacking DRAM, what will you do?

Use it until it dies.

Techinsights.com identifies that part number as "SK Hynix 96L 4D NAND Flash":

That makes me wonder whether this is a stacked chip, ie the NAND flash is stacked on top of the flash controller. Either way, there is no discrete SDRAM.

It actually shows it has volatile WriteCache in features, same as my other ssd with dram

definitively found to be lacking DRAM, what will you do?

I will at least put it away from os to storage / gaming drive
