Hey guys i heard that the geforce2 mx sdr was faster than a radeon 32mb ddr, surely this is crap right?
I don't understand how this card can be faster than the radeon, the radeon use's ddr memory, nuff said!
If the geforce2 mx is faster has anyone got any benchmarks to prove?

Ya, you've got it right, the Mx is faster than the radeon DDR. Just check out the old article by Tom called "Attacking the Radeon DDR, The Geforce2 MX." Or something close to that title.

I don't know if it constitutes proof but check the www.madonion.com benchmark comparisons.

The top results page of Geforce 2 MX cards on 1000 Mhz Athlon system range from 5801 to 6420 for 3DMark 2000

The top results page of ATI Radeon DDR cards on 1000 Mhz Athlon system range from 5410 to 5999.

thats because the geforce2mx has faster 16 bit performance than the radeon. in 32 bit, the radeon wins
