Is this upgrade worth it, or should I go bigger?

Hello!

I currently have:

Gigabyte 78lmt-usb3 Motherboard
16GB DDR3 RAM
GTX 1060 6GB
AMD FX-8350
650W Super Flower PSU

I am looking at an offer I have found of an ASUS-P8Z77 Motherboard, with an Intel i7-3770k for around £200-£250. Is it worth going for this, or is there a better, similar priced option?

Thanks.

Solution
You could buy some brand new parts.
i5 7500 £180
gigabyte B250 motherboard £70
total £250
I know you need new DDR4 memory, but you can sell your old memory on ebay.

Which is faster, old 3770k or new 7500? It is a tough call, depends on a lot of things. I would say 7500 for gaming, 3770k for video editing.
Both would be enormous upgrade over the 8350.
I would prefer new parts myself, but having said that, I am typing this on a PC with a 2600k CPU (almost as good as 3770k) that I got on ebay for £90

I would say that 7500 would have slightly better performance with tasks using up to 4 threads, and 3770k would be much better on tasks running 8 threads. Remember that the 3770k runs with much slower memory, and not all of them are good overclockers....
