so my friend is selling a system (used) two years old for 680$ is it worth buying and upgrading ?

seasonic x660 watt psu gold rated
1tb barracuda hdd
dvdrw samsung black
24' samsung syncmaster 2343

i was planning on just changing the gpu to something stronger and adding an ssd.
