[SOLVED] Is windows 8.1 gonna run on 512 MB Ram?

Even if you did, your laptop might just burn itself to death. Mind sharing the make and model of the laptop and it's SKU? Chances are that the laptop doesn't have official support for the OS you're looking at.

Yeasss my laptop will burn to death, But people say u can run it without problems? Btw the model is COMPAQ V3000! Thanks for the quick reply :>

The official requirements were 1GB for a 32bit install, 2GB for a 64bit install.

You may get it to run in 512MB, but if it does, it will be like watching paint dry.
