Is XP faster or not?

On THG it is stated that XP is faster than 2K, other places it says the opposite. Can anyone give me some real info on this? TOM please make a OS test!!

I agree, is confusing. But so far I would say ... depends on what your doing and how much crap your loading up. Personally? I do not see a huge increase in speed over 2000 it boots up a tad faster, but, nothing to have wet dreams on.
There are alot of annoying little hiccups to over come.
I agree with the os test.. granted it's a hardware site... but doesn't the hardware depend 'slightly' on the type of os your using?
You gotta be mad at someone in that company, Thomas. Make them do it.

Personally, this is looking more and more like a rush job.
