i have done all that already do you think it just a faulty motherboard as i think i actually installed the drivers beforeyou could try...
- resetting the Network
- Upgrading the BIOS to the latest
- Open a command Prompt and type " sfc /scannow " (no quotes) to look for and repair any damaged or corrupted files.
i feel like at the point i should just get a replacement but if i get those usb anteena do u think it worksit could be an intermittent fault with the wifi onboard adapter. The only way to really know is to slot in a PCI wifi card into the motherboard and connect to see if it fixes the problem.
i just not sure if it will actually work that why i don't want to buy it if it doesn't fix ityou can use a wifi dongle in USB too, thats an option
i unable to i don't know anyone who have it and it more expensive then replacing my mobocan you borrow one to try from someone?
which one should i chose i think 5 ghzThis microsoft site has the updated driver that is the latest one, different from the manufacturer website.
Select the one that suits the version of windows you have. You can also try the latest on the top of the list to suit windows 11 24H2

**Are you connecting it on 2.4ghz or 5ghz ??
How do I know if it 5 or 2.4?choose just one and turn the other off in the modem. Do this for both bands and it may fix your problem, hopefully.
Choose 2.4ghz - Turn off 5ghz
if no good then try...
Choose 5ghz - Turn off 2.4ghz
You still may need to update the microsoft driver as mentioned in my previous post if not working.
I mean installing the drivers which one do i chose from the list the 24hz? Newest one or what and how do I change it hertzit will tell you in the modem settings. What modem do you have?
it should tell you what band. but you should be able to disable or turn off one band in the modem
- Open Settings > Network & internet > Properties
