So, for The past few days I've been having some trouble with my gaming rig. It started with online videos, the sound is fine but they appear discolored and blackened for the first few seconds, or just stay as a black screen. I put this down to driver issues but updating them didn't work. Yesterday however, i noticed that games that were running fine before have suddenly started to have huge performance issues. For example, i tried playing skyrim, a game i can normally play at a steady 60fps, i was hitting around 2fps while outdoors and around 50 - 60 when indoors. i then tried playing batman arkham origins, a game that previously I had a solid 60fos with. This ran much better, although there was still a large amount of stuttering. I turned the settings down as low as possible, but the game ran identical to before. I thought this was strange, and started to realize that the problem was bigger than i had once thought.
If it helps at all, I've recently switched to a new display as my other one wasn't playing nicely with my updated drivers. I think this was when the problems started, although i'm not quite sure
