It didn't work

I am having the same problem. I have returned home from university and every time I try to connect to the home Wifi it connects but there is no internet access! It gives me full bars with a little "!" In a yellow triangle. I tried to do what was previously suggested but it did not help, I even tried reverting back to obtaining automatically but it still didnt work. Also do I input those very same values or are there specific values to my modem or pc that I should input?

I have no idea what was "previously suggested" so at the risk of suggesting something you already tried:

1) Unplug the router then plug it back in. Wait for all lights to show 'Okay' before trying to use internet.

2. If above doesn't work, reset the router by pushing paper-clip into the reset hole for 10 seconds. Again, wait until all lights show 'Okay' before trying to use the internet.

3) Contact your ISP to check if there are any problems with the service in your area.
